Lutoya is a clay vessel that is placed in the plant pot, filled with water, and slowly waters your plants.
Terracotta clay harvested alive, turned, crafted, fired and glazed. This is how it becomes a beautifully handcrafted object that makes your plants extraordinarily happy.
There are two models – one for small pots or planters, and one to bury in your flower or vegetable garden.
Lutoya takes shape and life in the hands of the master potters of Horezu, Corund, and Marginea – villages with an ancestral pottery tradition.
Lutoya terracotta clay is harvested just across the road, by the hardworking people of these towns, then delivered alive to the artisans' doors.
We do everything with the good intention of strengthening local trade, giving potters the place of honor they deserve. We care for nature through nature itself!
